Bhavik Bhandari M.D., graduated with honors from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Internal Medicine Residency program where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Drexel University, serving as Chief Fellow. Dr. Bhandari was on the faculty at Drexel University as Director of their Digestive Health Center prior to joining the faculty at Rutgers RWJ. He served as Program Director for the Gastroenterology Fellowship program leading the training for future gastroenterologists. He has won outstanding teacher and scholarship awards and has authored and co-authored several articles, chapters, abstracts, and case presentations in the field of Gastroenterology. His special areas of interest include Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), esophageal diseases, colon cancer, and challenging endoscopic cases. Dr. Bhandari has a working knowledge of Spanish and Hindi and is fluent in Gujarati.

Dr. Bhandari is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bhandari is so kind, and made me feel so at ease and relaxed before doing my colonoscopy screening. He has the BEST bedside manner, and all of the nurses and anesthesiologists at the endoscopy center in Paramus are top notch. I wish I could give 10 stars ✨!!!!

Dr. Bhandari is so great. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly, staff was so nice, office is clean. The appointment started on time. Dr. Bhandari is empathetic, gentle, and smart. He made me feel heard. I was able to get scoped quickly due to a cancellation- he did a great job with the testing and the facility they did it at in Paramus is amazing. A week later, his nurse called to explain the pathology results and also said that Dr. Bhandari saw that I saw another specialist yesterday and he read his note, agrees with the plan, and asked me to keep him the loop. Fantastic doctor and GREAT continuity of care. I know I am in very good hands with Dr. Bhandari and his office - highly recommend!!

Dr Bhandari is a great doctor. He's kind, he's gentle and he's very patient. He will answer all your questions. I went to four other gastroenterologist who had no idea what my problem was. Two doctors were from NYC. Dr Bhandari named it immediately and even showed me pictures of my problem. I'm so appreciative.
