Dr. Nes was very patient and thorough. She took her time meeting with us. The only downside and extremely frustrating was we were asked to get there 15 minutes earlier than our appointment time and we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Dr. Nes explained to me well RA symptoms and about the disease and answered all my questions. There was a mix up because when she called my name, there was another lady who stood up and since she was close to the door she went in first so I was thinking if it was really her who they called she’ll be out in no time. After 15 mins the lady came out and the doctor called my name again. The doctor said they had the wrong patient. I would suggest when the call a patient fpr their turn to verify and ask the patient their name and date of birth so they will have less mistakes and save time.

OUT OF THE WORLD. I highly recommend Dr. Nes. Funny story: the doctor that my neighbor recommended me, and the doctor that I called to book an appointment originally was not Dr. Nes. I was told that I needed to wait for more than a month to see the doctor. Instead the staff searched for who's available in rheumatology, and told me: "Dr. Nes can see you tomorrow". I had to wonder, "ugh. what does this mean?". I needed a doctor, so went with it. Best happenstance ever. When I first met Dr. Nes, Dr. Nes listened to my medical history from the last >20 years carefully, taking notes, for what it seemed like more than 30 minutes, before she made an assessment. What is out of the world is -- I bet I am one of the many patients that she sees every day, even with similar symptoms. But when I was seeing Dr. Nes, I felt that I was the one and only patient that she ever had. I don't think I've ever felt that. Even when I was waiting longer than usual in the waiting room (by the way Dr. Nes even had sent a staff to let me know), I was happy to, smiling, knowing that somebody else is getting Dr. Nes's full attention. Best doctor that I've had.

I visited Dr. Nes on the morning after the afternoon I called for an appointment. I believed I had a flare up of gout (first time). She reviewed the symptoms and confirmed that gout it is. She performed a careful physical examination and clearly explained the possible causes and treatment options. Dr. Nes is a skilled rheumatologist that I trust completely. She is also compassionate and wonderfully easy to talk with. Also, she had a packed schedule. It seemed that almost everyone in the waiting room was scheduled to see her. But never once during my time with her did I feel that she was rushing or not giving me one hundred percent of her attention. Dr. Nes is a fine physician and a lovely person.

We had a very good experience with Dr Deana Nes. She effectively diagnosed a difficult to determine condition called polymyalgia rheumatica which has signs of rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Nes has excellent listening skills and she's patient and treats people with great respect. She does not rush patients and carefully takes the time to listen and responds promptly. I highly recommend her for any age group but especially for elderly patient

The good: Responsive. Very patient. Thorough. Compassionate. Great note-taker. In fact, if you get offered to see your docs/charts online, you should do so just to see how detailed her notes are. The subjectively less-than-good (to me at least): Usually late seeing you (though to be fair, Dr. Nes isn't alone in this.) With regards to medication efficacy, she is very conservative in her approach. Expect her to fully exhaust an option before switching you to something else or adding an adjunct therapy. Of course, you'll have to grin and bear it while some of these drugs categorically fail you. She realizes this, and will remind you that you can come in before your next scheduled appointment if you're hurting. But being the stubborn man I am........ The bad: Seriously, nothing. She's a really studied and solid doctor, despite her seemingly young age.

I have seen Dr. Nes one time in person during COVID, and 2 times telehealth. I have another appointment next week for a follow up. Dr. Deana Nes is a skilled doctor with a wonderful "bed-side" manner. I presented with an uncommon condition, but I soon learned Dr Nes was completely knowledgeable and up-to-date on the subject. She immediately began a procedure to eliminate my pain and discomfort and ultimately cure my illness. What really amazed me is that she knew all the ins and outs of this unfamiliar condition as well as all the possible side-effects of the recommended treatment. Her plan worked perfectly, and I am once again back to normal and able to resume all activities. I have to admit that I had complete confidence in Dr. Nes from my very first appointment with her!
