I've moved many times and lived in different states. I'm now retired and living in Jupiter, FL. I am totally unimpressed by the doctors here, especially the Primary Care ones. I went to Dr. Gokhale while living in Old Tappan, for about 8 years, and HE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. I can't say enough good things about him and I would be more than tempted to move back to Bergen County, just to have him as my Primary Care, if it weren't for the snow, property prices/taxes.

He makes recommendations for different ailments and fully explains the pluses and minuses of each possible treatment. He also urges you to quit or cutback on various vices such as smoking, drinking,etc. without lecturing you. He spends a lot of time with you and you never get the feeling he's trying to rush you out the door. I live in Pa. and it's a four hour roundtrip to see him and I think he's well worth it!
