Pascack Valley Medical Group’s midwifery practice provides a wide range of services.

Prior to pregnancy, the goal of midwifery care is to help all women maximize their health so that they can have the healthiest pregnancy possible. Midwives specialize in low-risk pregnancies and see pregnancy and birth as a normal natural process. Our certified nurse midwife (CNM) has over 30 years of experience caring for women and their families. She will work with you to help you achieve your desired birth experience. As needed, consultations are available with OB/GYNs, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and other healthcare providers.

The midwifery service is offering contraception, family planning, and preconception counseling. Our CNM offers well-women exams, including pap tests, breast exams, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) screenings. She can order screening tests such as: mammograms, bone density testing, and colonoscopies. She can treat urinary tract infections and vaginal infections.

In partnership with Pascack Valley Medical Center, our practice provides a wide range of services including childbirth classes, lactation support, new mom support groups, and maternity exercise classes.
